Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview of Consulting Service Delivery

Link Prismcore Consulting Ltd. delivers specialized, professional technical documentation architecture, codebase forensic audits, and developer onboarding consulting. Because our engagements involve dedicated allocation of senior technical architects and custom intellectual work, our cancellation and refund terms reflect milestone-based delivery standards.

2. Project Mobilization Deposits

For fixed-scope consulting projects (such as our Flagship Architecture Overhaul or API Reference Engineering), engagements commence following the execution of a Statement of Work (SOW) and payment of an initial mobilization deposit (typically 30% to 40% of the project total).

• Cancellation Prior to Work Commencement: If the Client requests cancellation in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the scheduled project kick-off date, the mobilization deposit will be refunded in full, minus a 5% administrative and scheduling processing fee.
• Cancellation After Project Kick-off: Once repository static analysis, codebase reconnaissance, or maintainer discovery interviews have commenced, the initial mobilization deposit is non-refundable, as engineering capacity has been irreversibly committed.

3. Milestone-Based Engagements & Partial Refunds

Our multi-week engagements are partitioned into discrete, reviewable milestones. Each milestone requires explicit Client review and written sign-off before invoicing the subsequent phase:

• Completed & Signed-Off Milestones: Fees paid for completed milestones that have been reviewed and accepted by the Client are final and non-refundable.
• In-Progress Milestones: In the event that an engagement is terminated mid-milestone by mutual written agreement, the Client shall only be liable for the pro-rata portion of engineering hours expended up to the date of written termination notice. Any unearned surplus from payments made for that milestone will be refunded within fourteen (14) business days.

4. Advisory Retainer Cancellations

For ongoing quarterly documentation architecture retainers:

• Clients may cancel retainer renewals by providing written notice at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the start of the next billing month.
• Unused pull request review allocations or advisory hours within a completed calendar month do not roll over and are non-refundable.

5. Rescheduling of Discovery & Maintainer Sessions

We understand that active engineering sprints experience urgent incidents. Clients may reschedule maintainer interview sessions or architecture workshops with at least twenty-four (24) hours advance notice at no additional charge. Repeated last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours notice) may result in a deduction from the allocated consulting hours.

6. Refund Processing & Method

Eligible refunds approved under this policy are processed within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days following written confirmation. All refunds are remitted using the original payment method (bank wire transfer / corporate remittance) in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) or the invoiced currency.
